Travel Nursing Job Details

• Assignment Type: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Location: Princeton, Indiana
• Start Date: October 26, 2026
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,890–$1,990
• Registered Nurse Shift: 12-hour nights, 6:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week, excluding applicable orientation and holiday-related exceptions
• Weekend and Holiday Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation
• Patient Assignment: Typically 4–6 patients per nurse
• Electronic Medical Record: EPIC experience highly preferred
• Dress Code: Navy scrubs
• Travel Requirement: Applicants must meet applicable traveler distance requirements for the assignment

Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse license in Indiana or a Compact RN license
• At least 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience
• Associate degree or nursing certificate required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Current American Heart Association ACLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Successful completion of a 12-lead EKG and dysrhythmia examination
• Demonstrated proficiency with medical-surgical nursing and telemetry patient care
• Strong assessment, communication, prioritization, and clinical judgment skills

Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize dysrhythmias, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, manage IV drips, and perform ongoing nursing assessments
• Initiate peripheral IVs and provide care involving Foley catheters, NG tubes, and tube feedings
• Assist patients with activities of daily living while promoting safety, comfort, and independence
• Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and evaluate individualized care plans
• Accurately document patient care and clinical findings in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Participate in every other weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled
