Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse experience
- Active Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in New Hampshire
- Cardiac Cath Lab RN credentialing and competency appropriate to the assignment
- Ability to provide safe, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced cardiac procedural environment
- Strong patient assessment, communication, teamwork, and clinical documentation skills
Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Assess and prepare patients before cardiac catheterization and related diagnostic or interventional procedures
- Monitor patients throughout cardiac catheterization procedures and recognize changes in condition promptly
- Assist the procedural team with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization cases
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with orders, facility policies, and professional standards
- Provide post-procedure monitoring, recovery care, patient education, and discharge support
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate patient status to the multidisciplinary care team
- Follow infection prevention, sterile technique, emergency response, and patient safety standards
