Basic Minimum Requirements – Cath Lab Tech

Location: Russellville, Arkansas
Unit: Cath Lab
Trauma Level: III
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Travel)
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab Tech experience
Current ARRT (R), RCIS, or applicable Cath Lab credential
Current BLS
Active state license if applicable
Experience scrubbing and assisting during cardiac catheterization procedures
Knowledge of sterile technique and radiation safety
Ability to assist with patient preparation and recovery
Required Skills
Diagnostic cardiac catheterizations
Interventional cardiac procedures
Cardiac monitoring and patient assessment
Scrubbing and maintaining sterile field
Equipment setup and room turnover
Emergency response during Cath Lab procedures
Preferred Experience
PCI/Stent placement procedures
Pacemaker implantation support
Peripheral vascular procedures
Hemodynamic monitoring
Pre-op/holding room experience
Unit Details
5–6 bed Cath Lab/holding area
1:1 patient ratio
EMR: Meditech
May assist in the pre-op/holding room as needed
Equipment includes standard Cath Lab and patient care equipment (IV pumps, airway equipment, vital signs monitoring)
Call Requirements
Required call
Minimum 12 call days per month
Specific call schedule to be discussed during interview with the director
