Quick Job Summary – CT/X-Ray Tech
- Setting: Acute Care – CT / Radiology
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM
- Hours: 40 guaranteed hours/week
- Experience: 2 years
- Certifications: ARRT (CT) and BLS
- License: Required for submission
- Orientation: 12 hours listed; unit notes specify 1–2 department-specific shifts
- Charting System: Epic
- PACS: McKesson
- Required Equipment Experience: GE VCT 64-slice and GE Revolution 128-slice CT scanners
- Department Equipment: 4 CT rooms, 3 X-ray rooms, plus other imaging areas
- Responsibilities: CT and X-ray; may float to OR, Endoscopy, and ED
- Weekends: Every third weekend, either working or on call
- Call: Rotating weeknight call; weekend call or shifts as scheduled
- Holidays: Required
- Radiation Badge: Provided by the facility
- Schedule: Supervisor determines the schedule
- Facility Restriction: Candidates cannot be currently employed full-time, part-time, or PRN at any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity-affiliated facility.
- Nail Policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in patient-care departments; refusal to remove them may result in contract termination.
Minimum Requirements: 2 years of experience, ARRT (CT), BLS, required license for submission, and experience with the specified GE CT scanners. Candidates must be willing to perform both CT and X-ray duties, float as needed, and participate in rotating call, weekends, and holidays.
