Description
Quick Job Summary – CT Tech
- Setting: Acute Care – CT
- Shift: Tuesday–Friday, 7:30 PM–6:00 AM (overnight)
- Hours: 36 guaranteed hours/week
- Experience: 2+ years
- License: Active Utah (UT) license required
- Certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT(R), ARRT(CT)
- EMR/PACS: Epic and FIJI PACS
- Equipment: Philips 64-slice and 16-slice CT scanners; portable Carestream and Philips equipment
- Department: 2 CT scanners/rooms
- Patient Population: ER, stroke, and trauma patients
- Daily Volume: Approximately 35–45 scans
- IV Skills: Not routinely required, but must know how to start IVs
- Floating: Must be able to cover X-ray
- Call: No call listed; unit notes mention a 30-minute response time, so confirm whether any call or standby is required
- Weekends: No weekend requirements listed
- Holidays: Required
