Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
Location: Santa Rosa, CA
Start Date: 12/02/2025
Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to laboring patients and their newborns during all stages of childbirth.
Monitor fetal heart tones, maternal vital signs, and labor progression using appropriate assessment tools.
Administer medications and assist with inductions, epidurals, and cesarean deliveries as needed.
Provide support, education, and reassurance to patients and families during labor and postpartum recovery.
Manage high-risk obstetric cases and respond promptly to obstetric emergencies.
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal maternal and neonatal outcomes.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent nursing experience.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
Five (5) years of recent Labor & Delivery experience (within the last two years) preferred.
One (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience preferred.
High-Risk OB experience strongly preferred.

Licensure & Certifications

Registered Nurse (RN) License – Active and in good standing in the state of California.
Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required.
Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – Required.
