Unit Notes
Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.

**Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles.**
**Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contract
- Department Specific Equipment: Siemens equipment, Bracco contrast injectors
*level 1 trauma experience and travel experience required**
Department: CT Tech
*Certifications: BLS, ARRT-R, (CT) Preferred

- How many scanners/rooms does this department have?: 8 treatment areas
- Will they have to float/cover any other areas?: Depending on position- in past have hired to MRI, CT, Xray, and Ultrasound techs, May float between main campus and UC campus (stand-alone ER)
- Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: Mixed population from pediatrics to geriatrics, vast variety of imaging/studies, busy OR and ER
CTAs, hearts, perfusion
- Experience or 'Must have' skills: Prefer overnight techs to be able to do CT and X-ray, Must understand methods and is capable of performing venipuncture as required, Demonstrates ability to set and maintain multiple priorities in an environment with shifting priorities, while providing accurate deliverables in a timely fashion
Must be self-motivated, and able to take ownership of projects/assignments, Must be a team player with excellent follow-up and customer service skills
- EMR &/or PACS: EMR: EPIC, PACS: McKesson
- Department Specific Equipment: Siemens equipment, Bracco contrast injectors
- Shifts & Scheduling: 8s, 12s, or mixed shifts starting at 7-7, 3p-11p, etc., Set schedule
- Weekend Requirements: Depends on posted shift
- Holiday Requirements: If needed for the department
- How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: 36-40 hours
- Additional Notes: Fast paced and busy facility, patients are high acuity, Attributes that will make a traveler successful here include being willing to jump in and stay busy, be able to think outside of the box for problem solving

RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
