Cath Lab Tech – Minimum Requirements

Location: Harlingen, TX
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Shift: Days
Schedule: 06:45 AM – 03:30 PM

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab Tech experience
BLS Certification
RCIS, ARRT, or Cardiovascular Technologist credentials
Experience in an acute care hospital Cath Lab setting

Required Skills:

Scrubbing and assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
Coronary angiograms and cardiac catheterizations
PCI (angioplasty/stent procedures)
Hemodynamic monitoring
Sterile technique and procedural setup
Patient preparation and post-procedure care
Radiation safety and fluoroscopy awareness

Preferred Experience:

Pacemaker and ICD procedures
Peripheral vascular interventions
Electrophysiology (EP) exposure
Balloon pump and Impella experience
Strong scrub skills in a high-volume Cath Lab

Ideal Candidate:
An experienced Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience, strong scrub and procedural skills, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and excellent teamwork and patient care abilities.
