Description

Inpatient Pharmacist (Lubbock, TX) / 26-week contract starting 07/13/2026 / 7 On / 7 Off schedule with block scheduling / Nights, 8:00 PM–6:30 AM (later transitioning to days in July/August to cover FMLA through 01/13/2027) / Children’s Hospital & Level II Pediatric Trauma Center / Minimum 1 year inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required / TX Pharmacist License, PharmD, BLS, and EPIC experience required / Hospital experience and pediatric exposure are mandatory (retail-only experience will not be considered) / Responsibilities include medication verification, clinical pharmacy services, pediatric dosing, pharmacokinetic monitoring, renal dosing, IV compounding, sterile preparations, antibiotic therapy, therapeutic drug monitoring, and Pyxis medication dispensing / Experience with neonate, infant, pediatric, and adolescent populations preferred / No call required / Every other weekend required / First-time travelers accepted / Fast-paced inpatient pediatric pharmacy environment requiring strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
