š„ How Youāll Contribute
As a Physical Therapist, youāll contribute to our success in the following ways:
- Promotes Elara Caringās philosophy, mission statement and administrative policies to ensure quality of care
- Provides direct patient care, evaluates functional needs and outcomes, and consults with other specialists. Reviews patientsā functional needs and adjusts care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Designs and implements a plan of care for patients based on a thorough assessment of potential development and incorporates participation by significant others whenever it seems appropriate.
- Conducts therapy practice within defined standards of care.
- Directs the assistance of support staff to achieve patientsā functional goals.
- Documents evaluations, treatment goals, and plans. Regularly updates documentation and maintains prescriptions and signatures.
- Provides direction and leadership to staff and acts as a resource to promote physical therapy in the community
- Physically demanding, high stress environment
- Full range of body motion including handling, lifting and transfer of patientsĀ
- Potentially work irregular hours including call hours if applicable
š What is Required?
- Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current, unrestricted PT license in the state of practice
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting
- Able and willing to travel throughout the coverage area
- Must have a dependable vehicle, valid driverās license, and current auto insurance in accordance with state laws.
- Must be able and willing to travel 50%
- Able to sit, stand, bend, lift and move intermittently and be able to lift 50-100 lbs.
