General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds 38 Level II Trauma Center General mixed ICU with a variety of patients including: Medical; Surgical, Cardiac and Neurosurgery patients. Post-Operative open-heart patients; VV and VA ECMO, Balloon pump, Impella and CRRT. Number of Staff 125 Type of staff: Day Shift 1 Charge 16-18 staff Night Shift 1 Charge 16-18 staff Patient Ratios 2:1
1:1 depending on acuity Type of equipment Stryker beds, Avea ventilators, GE monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Maquet IABP, Vigilance II monitors, Impella, ECMO Maquet Cardiohelp and Medtronic Vital Flow; NICOM EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for:

Must have:
candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
Minimum 1-year of current acute care ICU hospital experience
BLS, ACLS NIH
Preferred or nice to have:
candidates with these skills will be considered first.
Prior Meditech experience
CVICU/CTICU (Care of the immediate post-operative open heart surgery patient) experience.
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
Bedside procedures such as Bronchs, GI Scopes, Chest Tube Insertion, Arterial and Central line insertions
Airway care and frequent drip titrations.
