RNs may float to Acute Care/Tele/TCU units with up to 3:1 assignment. All Travel RNs can be assigned to ED for boarded pts or assist with tasks/PACU for boarded pts.**All travelers booked to this unit MUST have experience with the following: ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, and PA Catheter** Special Procedures/Unit Details : Cost centers covered: 601004, 613001, 601001, 601006, 601011, 601201, 87309136-hour work week, x 3 12-hour shifts. Schedule based on operational need, based on shifts: 7-1930/19-0730. Minimum 2.5 years of recent adult medical/surgical critical care RN experience. Variety in CC experience preferred: med/surg, cardiac, neuro. Recent Float Pool, PACU or Emergency Room experience (preferred, not required). Special Equipment : - #Tier2 Travel Compliance RTO: All RTO disclosed at time of submittal. RTO needs approval from the manager at time of offer. No additional requests will be accepted mid-contract. RTO cannot be within the first two weeks of start Locals: Accepted and have the same rates as Travel Charting: Epic; refer to UD on whether required or preferred Certs: BSN required for all RN positions; CA license in hand required for all RN positions Return Staff: ANY employment with any University of California medical facility and any of their acquired facilities MUST be included with employment history. Must provide dates worked, units worked, manager name/s upon submittal for a rehire eligibility check with HR References: 2 references from most recent employer needed at time of submittal Travel Pairs: Allowed but generally will not be on the same unit. Married couples may not work on the same unit Floating: At any time during assignment, resources may be reassigned to a different department, unit, or facility (within 75+ radius) if the resource satisfies the requisite job specifications Teaching Hospital Experience: Required Modules : Modules are non-billable and included in NBO hours. Modules vary by unit/specialty/position and can range between 1 hour to 24 hours. Anything over 24 hours is billable. Modules are completed pre-start and annually.
