Description
RN - OR at Maimonides Medical Center (Brooklyn, NY)
Brief Unit Description: (Level-1 Adult Trauma, Peds level -2 trauma) Main OR: 15 plus Operating rooms at a major academic medical center in Borough Park, Brooklyn- New York
Call Requirements: None
Float to other units: Yes (if needed). Ambulatory Surgery Unit (x 6 Operating Rooms)- attached to the main OR
On weekend night per week, some holidays
Unit Size/Beds: 15 multi- specialty Operating Rooms (Main OR)
must scrub and circulate
Cases Seen: Trauma experience preferred. General Surgery, Urology, GYN surgery ,Robotic surgeries (Davinci Xi)-all specialties, Plastics, Pediatric surgeries , Orthopedics ad Thoracic surgery experience preferred. All other OR specialty experience welcome.
Years of Experience preferred: 4 +
Previous Travel Experience Required: Yes
Certifications required: BLS, New York State RN Licensure (minimum requirements)
Required trauma level 1 experience and a in various surgical services and trauma cases including: Orthopedics, neuro surgery, robotics and vascular experience required.
Day 1 Dental, Health, Vision insurance. Referral bonus and extension bonus.
