Important Schedule Note:
• The requisition header lists 3x12 Days / 36 guaranteed hours
• The unit-specific section lists 4x10-hour shifts per week
• On-call requirement: 4–5 weekday nights per 6-week schedule and approximately every 10th–11th weekend
• Schedule should be reconfirmed before submission

Position Overview:
The Cath Lab Recovery RN is responsible for preparing and recovering Cath Lab and EP Lab patients.

Unit Details:
• Unit: Radiology Nursing
• Campus: Mission / Memorial Campus
• Unit Beds: 24
• Patient Ratio:

3–4:1 in pre/post recovery
1:1 intraprocedural
• CNA support available in pre/post areas
• Floating: No traditional floating
• Unit may flex staffing based on patient volume

Required Experience:
• ICU or Emergency Department experience required
• Critical care and/or procedural experience required
• Experience caring for cardiac and vascular patients
• Moderate sedation experience preferred
• Previous Interventional Radiology experience preferred

Requested Clinical Skills:
• Cardiac diagnoses
• Vascular patients
• IV drug administration
• Chest tubes
• CVA/Stroke patients
• Moderate sedation

Required Certifications:
• ACLS
• PALS

Procedures Performed:
• Interventional Radiology procedures
• Invasive CT procedures
• Invasive Ultrasound procedures

Equipment:
• IV pumps
• Specialty beds
• Bedside monitors
• Telemetry boxes

Charting System:
• Cerner

Dress Code:
• Green hospital-issued scrubs
