BMT Oncology
*Oncology/Chemo experience required*
***Will need to pass Relias EKG exam. Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias required***
*Floating is required throughout the Oncology department as needed and will be floated to unit with greatest needed per shift. Will not always be working specifically on 9800 unit.*
Ratio- 4:1 for all shifts
Avg. Daily Census: 30
Beds/Rooms: 32
Every other weekend required
Auto stem cell transplants
Chemotherapy administration
ONS/ONCC, ACLS, BCLS required
Chemo cert required
1 year experience required
Will accept first time travelers
Required Skills: Oncology experience required, Administration of chemotherapy, Accessing/Managing Ports, Administration of blood & blood products, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, PICC line care, Starting and maintaining IVs, Antibiotics, Antiemetics, Foley catheter insertion/management, Isolation Precautions, Telemetry Interpretation, Telemetry monitoring,

o Clayton Ave. Building Southeast Lot- $63 (price and availability may vary)
o Clayton Taylor Garage- $73 (price and availability may vary)
• For orientation: park in the Laclede Garage (4929 Forest Park Ave, St. Louis Mo. 63108) for which there is a $15.00 charge. Pull a parking ticket and take with you. Barnes does not validate or reimburse for the charge. Wear scrubs.
• If you are working a straight night shift: If you are working straight night shift, there is no charge for parking, and you may park in the employee parking (you will receive parking information during orientation).
• If you will be working a day/night rotation: you will have to obtain a parking pass for which there is a $70.00 fee per month. The garage that you will be parking in will be Clayton/Taylor Ave location. Bring your license plate number with you on your first day.
