Currently, the requirement for staff nurses is 4 hours/6 weeks. Receive patients from OR, IR and Cath Lab. High acuity, medically complex Phase II / Pre/Post areas 22 beds, also support GI and OR Procedure RoomStaffed 24 hrs, academic teaching environment Special Procedures/Unit Details : *** PACU does not titrate vasoactive drips or keep patients requiring long term ventilation. These patients go directly to PICUCandidates must have some pediatric PACU experience. Minimum 2 years PACU with 30-40% pediatric patients ** may screen candidates without Peds PACU experience but must have extensive adult PACU experience if no Peds experienceNo cross training from other departments as this patient population needs to have solid PACU experience.***must have experience with Central line management and trached patients***On site Program Manager presents all files to the Manager Special Equipment : ***Last Updated 4.27.26 by UM and limited skills required are accurate. - JM #Tier3 Travel Compliance Required for Submission : SSN required at time of submission. DOB required at time of submission. RTO required at time of submission. Minimum of 2 years of applicable experience required. Washington state license or Compact RN license accepted. Candidates without a Washington license must be willing to apply upon offer. Copies of all required certifications must be included. Submission Rules : Maximum of 3 active submissions per traveler. Local candidates are accepted at the standard bill rate. Epic experience is preferred but not required. Background findings are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Previous staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler. Travelers who have worked continuously for 1 year must be separated for 90 days before returning on a new travel assignment. Start / Facility Instructions : Modules: For RNs and most Techs, modules are completed pre-start and are not included in orientation. Module time is billable for up to 8 hours at the regular hourly rate. Exception: RRT modules are completed on the first day of orientation and are not eligible for reimbursement. Module completion is tracked through transcripts in the traveler's Grow@SC account.
