Description:TRAVEL - IR Tech (743) - Wesley Medical Center - 7A - 5:30POn-call is 1 Weekend per month and 1 night a week Unit Information: Interventional Radiology/ (743) Location: Wesley Medical Center Address: 550 N Hillside St, Wichita, KS 67214 Floor: 1 st floor Building: Main Entrance General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of rooms: 3- 2 philips biplanes, 1 GE single, MAC Lab documentation Number of Staff 2 nurses, 4 RT s Type of staff: Day Shift Outpatient and inpatient procedures during hours of 700-530, call requirement through night. Night Shift Call required Average 10-12 procedures per day Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Minimum 6 months of current IR Tech experience BLS and ARRT (R) Active KS licensure Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Prior Stroke experience Traveling to large Trauma facilities List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Embolization, y-90, peripheral interventions, trauma cases, drain placements, biopsies, and spine work Stroke Thrombectomy, neuro coiling, and diagnostic cerebral cases Best personality Fit: Flexible with change, able to handle stressful cases.
