Job Summary: Cleveland Clinic Main Campus Hospital – Med/Surg Tele RN

- Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele) unit.
- Work 3x12 hour shifts per week; day/night rotating shifts (7am-7:30pm / 7pm-7:30am), with flexibility for variable shifts as needed.
- Deliver care to patients requiring cardiac monitoring and medical/surgical interventions.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Monitor ECG rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; utilize safe medication administration practices.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation using hospital systems (including Qualivis – Lotus for hours worked).
- Meet compliance requirements: minimum 18 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele specialty prior to travel assignments.
- Hold a valid permanent Ohio or compact nursing license.
- Maintain current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
- Work at least every other holiday as part of scheduling requirements.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and quality standards to ensure safe patient care.
