Job Summary: CT Technologist

• Location: 1130 Tree of Life Lane, Cornelius, NC 28031

• Facility Size: 35 licensed beds; key units include ED (8 beds), ICU (4 beds), Med/Tele (20 beds), Labor/Delivery (4 LDRs, 9 Mother Baby beds)

• Imaging Services Offered: X-Ray, CT, Ultrasound, MRI

• Shift/Schedule: Variable shift times; must work holidays if scheduled; no on-call or weekend rotation; schedule cycle not specified

• Department Volume: Average 30 studies per weekday, 14 on weekends (includes outpatient studies on weekends)

• Patient Population: ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient cases

• Minimum Experience: 2 years as CT Technologist; first-time travelers accepted

• Licensure/Certifications Required:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (R)(CT)

• Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Required Skills:

• Proficiency with GE CT equipment (specifically GE Revolution Apex)

• Experience in a fast-paced environment performing routine and STAT CT exams

• Ability to prioritize exams by acuity, including Code Strokes and post-processing exams

• Technology Used:

• EMR: EPIC

• RIS: Epic Radiant

• PACS: Philips iSite

• Contrast Injector: Bayer MedRad dual-head

• Orientation: 1 day of administrative onboarding (Epic, eLearning, policy review), remainder of week for department-specific training

• Other Requirements:

• Must adhere to facility radius rule (permanent address must be 50+ miles from facility)

• Must wear black scrubs

• Free parking available

• No floating to other departments

• Not a trauma, teaching, chest pain or stroke-accredited facility
