RN - ED ● About Facility: o Free standing emergency department ▪ 12 bed ED o No Trauma Designation, licensed under Advocate SE Pineville o We offer 24/7 on-site X-ray, CT, and Ultrasound services o New facility - Providence opened in 2020 o Radius rule: Traveler s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit ● Department Information: o Average of 38 ED visits per day o Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years ED experience o Will you accept a first-time traveler? Prefer traveler experience but not required ● Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: o ED patients only all ages; Common ED Diagnoses and Behavioral Health ● Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance: o BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI required o TNCC - preferred ● Ratios: o RN: 1:4-5 ● Skills required: o General ED Skillset to include but not limited to - Cardiac rhythm interpretation, experience with critical care drips, PIV starts, TNK/TPA administration, conscious sedation ● Support within Department: o Charge RN o Nursing Support/Safety Attendant o RT, 24/7 in house o Imaging o Staffed with (2) RNs, RT and Imaging all clinicians will work as unit (Imaging and Respiratory Therapist are cross trained to assist in patient cares) ● Technology/Equipment: o EMR: EPIC o Alaris o Omnicell o Panda Warmer ● Floating: If yes, where? o Will be required to float per region needs will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice DECLINE if not agreeable ▪ Region 2 - Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, any Freestanding ED within Region, Central Division (CMC Main + CMC Mercy + Levine Children s Hospital) ▪ If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock) ● Orientation (facility and unit) : o NEO o 2 days departmental ● Other notes: o Scrub Color: Navy Blue o Parking: Surface lot available at no cost
