Description

Job Summary (List Format):

- Minimum Experience: 1 year required; first-time travelers are accepted
- Patient Population: Adolescents to geriatrics
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIH
- Work Setting: Neuro/Stroke PCU floor; mixed medical, respiratory, and cardiac patients
- Key Skills: Titrating cardiac drips; continuous telemetry monitoring
- Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 4 patients
- Unit Size: 36 beds; average daily census of 30
- Unit Systems Used: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR
- Scrub Color: Navy blue
- Scheduling:
- No block scheduling
- RTO blackout during Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
- Every other weekend required unless specified
- Floating: Yes, within facility and scope of practice as needed
- Call Requirements: None
- Holiday Requirements:
- Work 1 major holiday if assignment overlaps with 1 holiday
- Work both if assignment overlaps with 2 holidays
- Work 2 out of 3 if assignment overlaps with 3 holidays
- Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day

Med Ninjas Job ID #11432. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
