Description

Job Summary:

Provide skilled nursing care in a 64-bed Emergency Department serving newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients. Respond to a wide range of emergency conditions, including stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure. Administer and manage critical drips and medications (e.g., pressors, vasodilators, anti-arrhythmics, sedation, TNK, heparin, insulin). Utilize specialty equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun. Float to other units as required by hospital needs. Document all care using EPIC EMR. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures. Adhere to required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC. Wear navy blue scrubs as per unit policy.
