Description
- Requires a minimum of 4 years of Operating Room experience prior to travel
- Mandatory experience in Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics
- Unit includes service lines: Bariatrics, Urology, Neurology, ENT, Oral, Plastics, Transplant, Ophthalmology, General surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics
- Holidays: No holiday time off (RTO) approved; blackout dates are 11/23-11/29 and 12/21-1/3
- Weekend and on-call requirements are variable and discussed during the interview
- Floating may occur within facility/scope of practice and to Outpatient as needed
- Minimum experience: 3 years (unit does not accept first-time travelers)
- Candidates will be clinically screened to ensure fit; only those passing clinical and within guidelines sent to manager
- Maximum of 7 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed
- Full compliance required before start; non-compliance may delay start by 2 weeks (bi-weekly orientation)
- Locals accepted at the same rate
- Non-billable orientation hours determined by contract length (e.g., 8 hrs for 8 weeks, 10 hrs for 10 weeks)
