Description

Job Summary: RN – Stroke Telemetry Unit

Deliver evidence-based, protocol-driven care to acute stroke and complex telemetry patients in a 34-bed, high-acuity medical-surgical unit.
Perform and document frequent neurological assessments, including the NIH Stroke Scale.
Monitor and accurately interpret telemetry rhythms; respond promptly to any changes.
Ensure compliance with stroke core measures (e.g., dysphagia screening, patient education, care planning).
Administer medications safely in accordance with BCMA standards.
Collaborate effectively with providers, therapists, case management, and the interdisciplinary team.
Manage patient admissions, discharges, and overall patient flow in a fast-paced setting.
Prioritize patient safety, including fall prevention and skin integrity.
Provide compassionate, holistic, and evidence-based care tailored to the needs of stroke and telemetry patients.

Med Ninjas Job ID #15479. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
