Description

Job Summary

- Provide patient care within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing
- Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Educate patients and their significant others regarding health conditions and care plans
- Accurately document all patient care in the medical record
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Work in an acute care hospital setting, specifically in the emergency department
- Utilize advanced life support and trauma nursing skills as per certification requirements (ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS)
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years recent (within past 2 years) acute care hospital experience
- Minimum 2 years emergency department experience
- Current or willingness to obtain: Oregon RN license, ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications
- Submission of resume, skills checklist (within 1 year), certifications, and nursing license
