Description

Job Summary (List Format):

- Position: Registered Nurse (IMCU/PCU)
- Location: Local applicants preferred (within 75 miles)
- Required Experience:
- 2+ years in IMCU/PCU
- Documented travel nursing experience
- Certifications:
- Current AHA BLS
- Current AHA ACLS
- NIHSS certification
- Licenses:
- Active NY RN license (and all other RN licenses if applicable)
- NURSYS report and license verification required
- Skills Checklist:
- Specialty-specific checklist matching IMCU/PCU
- EMR Experience:
- Required experience with EPIC EMR
- Shift:
- 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Block scheduling not guaranteed
- Floating:
- Required
- Scrub Color:
- Navy blue
- Unit Details:
- Common diagnoses: Neuro, cardiac, trauma, respiratory (COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, post-op)
- Specialty equipment: Temp pacer, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, Neptune Vapo
- Chronic vents (unable to wean); RT available to assist
- Patient Demographics:
- Adults (18 years and older)
- Unit Size:
- 64 beds (including 15 designated neuro beds)
- Other Requirements:
- RTO (Requested Time Off) must be included at submission
- Valid driver’s license with address matching resume demographics

Note: Floating to other units as needed; all required documents must be submitted at the time of application.

Med Ninjas Job ID #17431. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
