Position Details

• Specialty: Nephrology
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
• Weekends: No weekends
• Duration: Travel contract
• First-Time Travelers: Accepted
• Float Requirement: Yes – may float to other offices
• Local Candidates: Accepted; candidates living within 75 miles are paid at a $10 lower rate
• Experience Required: Minimum 1 year

Required License & Certifications

• Active New York State RN License
• AHA BLS

Preferred Experience

• EPIC experience preferred
• Ambulatory healthcare experience preferred
• Nephrology experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in an outpatient nephrology setting.
• Room patients and prepare them for provider evaluation.
• Obtain and document accurate vital signs.
• Administer injections and medications as ordered.
• Assist with patient flow and daily clinical operations.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR.
• Communicate effectively with providers, patients, and healthcare team members.
• Float to other office locations as needed.
• Work independently while maintaining quality and patient safety standards.
