Description

Patient Triage and Assessment: Evaluate incoming patients quickly using emergency severity systems to prioritize care based on urgency.
Resuscitation and Stabilization: Perform life-saving interventions, including Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), airway management, intubation assistance, and defibrillation.]
Medication Administration and IV Therapy: Start intravenous (IV) lines, calculate and deliver prescribed emergency drugs, manage infusions, and reconcile current medication histories.
Clinical Procedures: Assist physicians with trauma response, fracture splinting, wound cleaning, suturing, and minor surgical procedures.
Vital Sign and Condition Monitoring: Track blood pressure, oxygen saturation, heart rate, and respiration continuously, reporting sudden changes to the medical team.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with emergency physicians, respiratory therapists, paramedics, and diagnostic technicians to coordinate seamless care.
Documentation and EMR Management: Record medical histories, clinical assessments, treatment plans, and patient responses accurately in electronic health records.
Patient and Family Support: Provide clear updates, crisis management, and compassionate emotional support to terrified or grieving family members.

Med Ninjas Job ID #18312. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
