Job Summary (List Format):

- Provide professional nursing care utilizing clinical knowledge and skills in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Deliver direct patient care, monitoring and assessing patient conditions and responses to treatments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following established protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Ensure patient safety and adhere to infection control standards.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
- Demonstrate competency in emergency interventions as required by unit protocols.
- Maintain required certifications and licensure, including Illinois RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and trauma certification (TNCC/TNS/TCRN).
- Participate in continuous professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
