Description

Job Summary (Med-Surg RN, 14 bed unit, 1:5 ratio, 7A-7P):

- Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical patients in a 14-bed unit
- Manage a patient assignment of up to 5 patients per shift
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assess patient conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient transfers
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Work 12-hour daytime shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
- Respond to changes in patient status and emergencies as needed

Med Ninjas Job ID #560. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
