Description

Job Summary: RN ER – Illinois

Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room (ER) setting.
Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care based on acuity and presenting symptoms.
Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition and vital signs to the healthcare team.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide optimal patient care.
Respond quickly and efficiently to emergency situations, including trauma, cardiac arrest, and other critical incidents.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, procedures, and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in electronic medical records.
Adhere to infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies and procedures.
Participate in ongoing education, training, and quality improvement initiatives.
May supervise and mentor nursing students, new hires, or support staff as needed.

Med Ninjas Job ID #6393. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
