Physical Therapist (PT) – Pediatrics

Position Type: Local Contract / Travel Assignment
Setting: Pediatric

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) to support children in achieving optimal mobility, strength, and functional independence. This role involves working with infants through adolescents with a variety of developmental and physical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with developmental delays, neurological, and orthopedic conditions
Develop individualized treatment plans and goals
Implement therapeutic interventions to improve gross motor skills, balance, coordination, and mobility
Educate families and caregivers on home exercise programs
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (OT, SLP, teachers, physicians)
Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements

Active PT license (state-specific)
Pediatric experience preferred (new grads with pediatric clinicals considered)
BLS/CPR certification
Strong communication and family engagement skills

Travel vs Local Notes

Travel: Housing stipend, travel reimbursement, weekly pay
Local: Consistent schedule, potential for extension or permanent placement
