About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated, compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a quality-driven outpatient clinic focused on improving patients’ independence and functional performance in daily activities.

This role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy hands-on treatment, functional rehabilitation, and working closely with Occupational Therapists in a collaborative team environment. New graduate COTAs are welcome, with structured supervision and mentorship provided.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver skilled occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
  • Implement individualized treatment plans focused on functional outcomes
  • Provide 1:1 patient-centered care
  • Address ADLs, IADLs, upper-extremity function, coordination, and fine motor skills
  • Monitor patient response to treatment and report progress to the supervising OT
  • Document treatments and patient progress accurately and timely
  • Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and home programs

Clinic Environment

  • Outpatient orthopedic and general rehab setting
  • Modern equipment and well-organized treatment areas
  • Supportive leadership, OT supervision, and administrative support

Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Active (or pending) state COTA license
  • New Graduate COTAs welcome
  • Outpatient experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset
