About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated, compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a quality-driven outpatient clinic focused on improving patients’ independence and functional performance in daily activities.
This role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy hands-on treatment, functional rehabilitation, and working closely with Occupational Therapists in a collaborative team environment. New graduate COTAs are welcome, with structured supervision and mentorship provided.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver skilled occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans focused on functional outcomes
- Provide 1:1 patient-centered care
- Address ADLs, IADLs, upper-extremity function, coordination, and fine motor skills
- Monitor patient response to treatment and report progress to the supervising OT
- Document treatments and patient progress accurately and timely
- Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and home programs
Clinic Environment
- Outpatient orthopedic and general rehab setting
- Modern equipment and well-organized treatment areas
- Supportive leadership, OT supervision, and administrative support
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active (or pending) state COTA license
- New Graduate COTAs welcome
- Outpatient experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset
