Description
Registered Nurse - Procedural (Vascular/Neuro Interventional Radiology)
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour shifts
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Job Summary
Provide nursing care under general supervision in specialty procedural areas including Neuro Interventional Radiology, Vascular Interventional Radiology, or General Interventional Radiology. Responsibilities include patient care, assisting physicians with examinations and minor procedures, administering medications and IV infusions, monitoring patient physiological data, and coordinating care with patients, families, and support staff.
Essential Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned group of patients and document responses to nursing interventions and treatments.
- Assist physicians during patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
- Monitor and intervene based on patients’ physiological data.
- Administer medications and regulate intravenous infusions and blood products.
- Communicate care plans to patients and families during hospitalization and discharge.
- Delegate tasks to support staff and oversee their treatment activities.
- Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma.
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience within the last year.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

- Prior travel experience is not specified as a requirement.
