Description
Job Opportunity: CT Tech
Location: Wilmington, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
- Hours per week: 36
- Call Requirement: Call is required, limited to no more than two 12-hour call shifts per month
- Float Requirement: Floating between units is required
- Weekend Requirement: Must work every weekend
- Patient Volume: Approximately 98 patients per 24-hour period
- Facility Type: Level II Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, inpatient and emergency services
- Special Equipment: Experience with GE and Siemens imaging systems required
- Unit Systems: Experience with EPIC and Synapse-Fuji documentation and communication systems required
- Dress Code: Solid color scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- AART Advanced Certification
- RT(R)(CT) license/certification
- Experience in inpatient settings
- Experience with EPIC documentation and communication systems
Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Background check within 6 months for clinical candidates
- Drug screening (9-panel, within 6 months of start)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start (or documentation of past positive TB with appropriate follow-up)
- Required immunizations and titers: Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
- Physical exam not required for this assignment
- Radiation badge required for CT Techs
- Mandatory facility-specific documents including confidentiality agreement, medication safety certificate, and annual compliance training
- Photo for badge: Passport-style photo on solid white background, business attire, no head coverings except glasses
- Must complete facility-specific education modules and orientation checklists prior to start
- Must complete medication safety training and upload certificate of completion
Additional Information
- No overtime billed until after 40 hours worked
- Return to Office (RTO) requirement: maximum 7 days
- Facility provides diagnostic imaging for trauma, stroke, and other emergency conditions
- Candidates may discuss special needs or assignment specifics with the manager prior to approval
