Job Opportunity: Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist

Location: Billings, Montana
Employment Type: Clinical Non-Nursing Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Job Summary

Provide technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
Assist physicians with radiological imaging and act as scrub assistant while maintaining sterile conditions.
Operate imaging equipment and monitor/document procedure images and events from the control room.
Provide patient care under RN supervision.
Educate patients and families about the procedure, including pre- and post-procedure expectations and physical conditions.
Maintain unit orderliness and cleanliness; manage stock levels for complex interventions and diagnostic procedures.
Complete daily, progress, and discharge documentation according to departmental standards.
Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and potential safety hazards.

Required Qualifications

Valid Cardiovascular Technologist license in Montana
Minimum of 1 year of recent Cardiovascular Technologist experience
Registered ARRT or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Fluoroscopy Certification
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience with radiology imaging
