RN ICU - Pediatrics

12-hour shifts
36 hours per week

Job Description

Provide nursing care to pediatric ICU patients under general supervision.
Manage an assigned group of patients, documenting responses to nursing interventions and physician orders.
Assist physicians with patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
Monitor physiological data and intervene as necessary.
Administer medications, intravenous infusions, and blood products.
Communicate care plans with patients and families, including at discharge.
Make referrals for patient care needs and delegate tasks to support staff.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oklahoma
Minimum 1 year of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience within the last year
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
Level 1 experience in PICU
Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
