CT Technologist

Location: Fort Madison, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: Night shift, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Job Description

• Prepare patients for CT examinations and position them according to physician orders.
• Operate Computed Tomography (CT) equipment and accessories.
• Produce quality diagnostic images as directed by physicians and radiologists.
• Demonstrate knowledge of general anatomy, CT imaging fundamentals, radiation protection, technical factors, basic computer skills, and PACS.
• Competency in CT procedures, protocols, and techniques is required.
• Provide patient care and safety for all patient populations.
• Work independently during assigned shifts performing CT and X-ray.
• Recent experience with Epic (within the last 12 months) is required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Iowa.
• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience.
• CT Technologist experience within the last year.
• Experience with Epic.

Additional Information

• This position requires working independently during weekend night shifts.
• The assignment length is approximately 13 weeks.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
