RN Labor and Delivery
Location
- Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Contract
- 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- 2 or more years of total travel experience
- BLS
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advance Provider or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Instructor
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
- Experience working with Neonate patients
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
Role Overview
- Provides nursing care in a hospital setting for patients with a range of health problems
- Responsible for an assigned group of patients
- Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments
- Assists physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatment
- Monitors patient physiological data and intervenes when necessary
- Administers medication and manages intravenous infusions and blood products
- Communicates care plans and discharge information with patients and families
- Delegates tasks to support staff
