Cath Lab Tech
Job Overview
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Location: Snellville, Georgia
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 14 weeks
- Shift: Day, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
- Hours per week: 40
Patient Population
- Adults to geriatrics
Required Qualifications
- Cath Lab Technologist with 2 years of experience
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- RCIS, RCES, or ARRT CV
- EKG settings experience
- Experience with Epic
- Experience with GE Healthcare
Preferred
- Pacemakers experience
Work Setting
- 3 rooms with 5 beds
- Average daily census of 8–10
- Epic required
- Pyxis
- SBAR
- Merge preferred
Schedule and Assignment Details
- Every other weekend
- 10 call days per month
- Floating within the department and facility, with possible float to a sister campus
- Up to 7 days of requested time off
- Must work major holidays that fall during the assignment, per facility policy
Compliance and Start Requirements
- Full compliance is required to start on time
- Background check must be complete before start
- Photo ID required
- Education verification required
- Skills checklist within 12 months
- Verification of most recent employer required
- 2 clinical references required by the staffing agency
- Color blind testing required
- Physical exam required
- TB questionnaire required
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray required
- Drug screen required
- Flu vaccine or declination required
- Tdap is highly recommended but not required
Additional Notes
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Local candidates are accepted
