Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Neurosurgery experience
Preferred Qualifications
- NIH certification
- Neuro experience
Assignment Details
- Patient ratio: 1:5-6
- 36 or 48 hours may be scheduled; if 48 hours are worked, overtime is not billed until after 48
- Float required
- Weekend requirement: 12-16 weekend shifts per contract
- Block scheduling may be accommodated
- Travelers may be assigned to storm, hurricane, mass casualty, or disaster response duties
- Mid-contract consolidation to a centralized office may occur, with possible reassignment to units as needed

- Neuro surgical procedures and neuro diagnoses
- Manager schedules
- 2 orientation shifts on the unit after hospital-based orientation
- Navy scrubs

- RTO maximum: 7 days
