Pediatrics RN Travel Contract
Location
- Charlotte, North Carolina
Contract Details
- Travel/contract role
- 20-week contract
- 36 hours per week
- Day shift, 3x12 hours: 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Pediatrics (2 years of experience)
- Pediatrics experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Preferred Qualifications
- IV start and lab draw experience
- Chemotherapy experience and certification
Schedule and Unit Expectations
- No call required
- Every other weekend required
- Self-scheduling
- Float to PICU and NICU
- Target ratio: 1:5-6
Patient Population
- Ages 0-17
- Medical-surgical and hematology/oncology patients
Orientation and Training
- 24 hours of unit orientation
- Must be available for classes each day during the first week of hospital orientation
Additional Notes
- Local candidates accepted
- RTO after booking is not allowed
- Up to 7 days of RTO may be allowed for auto-offer consideration
- Scrubs are not provided; required attire is fun kid tops and navy pants
