Cath Lab Tech

Role Overview

Travel/Contract position in Conyers, Georgia.
Split lab assignment; the role rotates between Cardiac, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology.
Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
40 hours per week.
Included in the call schedule, averaging 9 to 10 days per month.
Floating is within facility/scope of practice as needed.
Locals are accepted at the same rate.

Required Qualifications

Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year.
Cath Lab Technologist with 1 year of experience.
Full compliance is required to start on time.
State of Georgia license is required for CRTs and RRTs.
Photo ID required.
Background check must be complete before start.
Education verification is required and must be for the related degree noted on the application.
Physical exam statement required within 12 months of start.
Negative TB test or chest x-ray required within 12 months of start.
TB questionnaire required for all candidates.
Negative 10-panel drug screen required within 60 days of start.
Work history verification of the most recent employer is required.
2 clinical references are required.
Skills checklist required within 12 months and updated annually.
Color blind testing is required.
Flu vaccine or declination is required.
BLS is required.
ACLS is required.
NIH Stroke Certification may be required depending on the unit description.

Scheduling / Assignment Notes

Up to 7 RTO dates are allowed.
One major holiday must be worked if it falls during the assignment; two major holidays must be worked if both fall during the assignment; if three major holidays fall during the assignment, two must be worked.
Non-billable orientation hours are determined by contract length.
