Job Title: MS/Tele Registered Nurse
Location: Canton, OH
Setting: Hospital - Medical/Surgical Telemetry
Pay Range: $47.83 - $50.22 per hour
Schedule: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler friendly – travel reimbursement available

Requirements:

• 18+ months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Minimum of 18 months combined perm experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
• Ohio License or Compact State License in hand (must have before start)
• BLS & ACLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross (must be current)
• NIH Stroke Certification – must obtain prior to start
• Epic experience required
• One recent managerial or supervisory reference in Med/Surg Telemetry
• ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessments – acceptable scores required during orientation

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with NIH stroke protocols
• Prior telemetry monitoring expertise

Responsibilities:
As a healthcare professional in a hospital setting, the RN will provide compassionate patient care, utilizing Epic EMR system and telemetry monitoring skills, while adhering to safety protocols and hospital policies.

• Manage med/surg telemetry patients, including ECG rhythm recognition
• Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to changes
• Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR
