Job Details:

Responsibilities:

• Perform clinical assessments to identify patient needs and determine appropriateness for therapy.
• Document, prepare, and revise the Plan of Care (POC), progress notes, and clinical records continuously.
• Conduct therapeutic interventions focusing on ROM, strength, coordination, adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and functional mobility.
• Fabricate and maintain adaptive equipment and hand splints as needed.
• Evaluate patients’ occupational performance in self-care, work, leisure, and rest, considering physical, psycho-social, and cognitive components.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members regarding patient status.
• Ensure infection control and universal precautions are followed during clinical activities.
• Communicate relevant patient information to appropriate providers while maintaining confidentiality.
• Assist with troubleshooting, setup, cleaning, and maintenance of occupational therapy equipment.
• Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
