Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to acute patients in a fast-paced ED environment
• Assist physicians with procedures such as lumbar punctures, intubations, and central line placements
• Monitor cardiac status using GE Cardiac Monitoring and other advanced equipment
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies including patient experience and safety protocols such as AIDET and nurse leader rounding
• Support the team with float policies, documentation systems like Meditech, and equipment use such as MobiLab and I-mobile
• Maintain certifications and skills including ACLS, PALS, BLS, and CPI
• Demonstrate charge nurse experience for alternate charge roles
• Follow specific dress code (navy blue scrubs) and unit policies
