Job Details:
Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Corrections - Day Shift
Location: Capron, VA
Setting: Prison
Pay Range: Up to $1400 weekly
Schedule: 12-hour nights, 36-hours per week, every other weekend, holidays as needed
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly
Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience as an LPN if no corrections experience. Minimum of 2 years of experience if candidate has corrections experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to incarcerated patients in a correctional setting.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Monitor patient health status, document findings, and update medical records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Respond to emergencies promptly and effectively, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
