Job Details:
- Job Title: RN: Psych
- Location: Savannah, GA
- Setting: Psychiatric Hospital
- Pay Range: $1780.61 - $1869.64 weekly gross
- Schedule: 12-Hour Nights (07:00:00 to 19:00:00)
- Contract Length: 16 weeks
- Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly
- Requirements: 1 year of experience as a RN; Qualified applicants MUST have at least 1 year of inpatient Psych experience; Valid Registered Nurse license; Be willing to obtain GA or compact state licensure
Responsibilities:
- Accurately administer prescribed medications and initiate intravenous therapies
- Conduct thorough health assessments to identify patient needs and formulate individualized care plans
- Make daily rounds to assess patients' physical and emotional status and implement necessary interventions
- Respond to patient and family concerns, document issues, and communicate resolutions to appropriate staff
- Serve as a shift leader and resource to team members in the unit
