Job Details:
Job Title: PICU Registered Nurse
Location: Charlottesville, VA
Setting: Hospital
Pay Range: 2216.52 - 2327.35
Schedule: 19:00 - 07:00 (Night 3x12-Hour)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: BLS, NRP, ACLS, PALS; 2 years PICU experience required; Dr Browns Infant Driven Feeding Cert required (pending submission, cost $185); PICU and NICU experience; comfortable with peds; must adhere to UVAs float policy; Epic experience; VA license pending
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized care for pediatric patients in various units including PICU, NICU, Peds MedSurg, Peds PACU, Peds ED boarders, and postpartum/mother-baby units.
- Float to different pediatric units as needed, adhering to hospital policies.
- Monitor and assess pediatric patients, ensuring safety and comfort during night shifts.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care.
- Follow hospital protocols and maintain documentation standards.
